CAPS Advising Events

    Welcome to FCC!  Before you register for classes, you have two key things to do:

    1.  Send your high school transcript or test scores to transferevaluation@frederick.edu or take placement tests to determine your English and Math level. To see a full list of testing exemptions, to go to the Admissions page, and click on #3 “Placement Testing”. 

    2. Meet with your assigned advisor to discuss your career goals and make sure you’re on the best path for you!

    Here are 2 great options for getting together with your advisor:



     


    Option 1: Compass Days (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)

    Come to Compass Day to learn success strategies, tour main campus, get some swag and receive personalized advising  with students in your specific program! Compass Days are the full package deal! 

    Additional Compass Days for July and August are opening up soon!


    Option 2: New-to-College Advising Appointments

    Make an individual appointment with your assigned advisor. Appointment availability varies. Located in Jefferson Hall - 2nd Floor.
